Client OverviewOur client is a rapidly growing financial management organization in the educational and non-profit space, and is looking to add a Senior Accountant
. This company is looking for an experienced professional who can work on a team just as effectively as they can work independently.
$35/hr - $40/hr
Position OverviewSenior Accountant applicants must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Our client is looking for 3-5 years of experience with month-end close, accruals, financial analysis, etc. The ideal candidate should be hardworking and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience in government and/or non-profit accounting is a huge plus.
Responsibilities- Prepare financial analyses and reports.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Perform input, maintenance, and review of fixed assets.
- Responsible for updating/reviewing the forecast on a weekly, monthly, and year-end basis.
- Experience with month-end closing, journal entries, and working on the general ledger.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel skills.
- ERP systems experience.
- Advanced Excel and Financial Analysis experience.
- Leadership, communication, and financial analysis in an Accounting team are all big pluses.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or a related field is required.
