Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipping manifests, according to company and customer guidelines
• Affix all required labels to correct skids, parts.
• Create pallets, skids, containers as needed for production and/or shipments
• Process all UPS, FEDEX and/or other daily shipments, as needed
• Obtain and process receiving deliveries, logging, and distributing packages within the company
• Receive inbound trucks (receiving components/ sub-contractor parts/ empty bins/ materials/ oils etc.)
• Prepare / stage product for outgoing shipments. Load and ship product as per outgoing schedule
• Ensure that product is dispersed or consumed based on schedule/demands
• Communicate with transporters to schedule pickups and deliveries
• Receive and coordinate incoming vendor orders and deliveries. Route to appropriate department(s)
• Inventory
• Participate in Company inventory requirements.
• Ensure that all materials and finished goods are put away safely into proper areas and labeled with required documentation. Maintain empty bin/rack location to ensure availability for production use
• Operate assigned mobile equipment, including fork trucks/tuggers safely and with due consideration to pedestrians and safety regulations*
• Report to supervision the absence of, or defect in any equipment or protective device of which you are aware, and which may endanger the health and safety of yourself or another worker
