Security Officer - Industrial Desk Attendant in Newton, NC is a Part-Time security position requiring a valid state driver’s license and a visible presence at the front desk of a manufacturing and industrial location.

Schedule:

Sat 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM;
Sun 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18.93 / Hour

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and upholding site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and logging entry and exit of individuals as required.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to deter unauthorized activity and report any suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with all individuals on site, handling inquiries and providing guidance as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and client procedures by documenting incidents, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following site‑specific instructions and procedures.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
