Multi-Disciplined Engineer

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Multi-Disciplined Engineer II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Newton, NC. Details of the position are as follows:

• Pay: 50-55/hr to Start!!
• 12-month assignment, possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Monday – Friday 8am‑4:30pm
• Providing 2nd level technical expertise in PLC control-based troubleshooting, controls hardware, and wiring specifically in support of new production line installation.
• The position will also follow direction from a Senior Controls Engineer and enhance manufacturing capabilities through the implementation of new ideas and methods.
• The position will also be responsible for executing project objectives to fulfill overall project goals and milestones.

• Associates degree in related field or applicable experience Required!
• 4+ years of related experience Required!
• Technical expertise in PLC controls-based Troubleshooting, controls hardware, and wiring; specifically in support of new production line installation Required!
• Previous experience/focus on the physical aspects of wiring and controls hardware Required!
• Experience with PLC’s, HMIs, drives, safety systems, and structured programming Required
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment Required!
• Experience supporting design, fabrication, off‑line integration and testing, installation, production start-up support, training of plant personnel and technology transfer Required!
