CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Project Administrator/Assistant.

Job Title: Project Administrator/Assistant
Location: Newton, NC
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Newton, NC.
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M–F 8am–5pm
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Behavioral Psychology, or a related field.
DescriptionThe Project Administrator/Assistant provides administrative and project coordination support to ensure projects are properly organized, resourced, and delivered on schedule. This role supports Project Managers and internal teams with scheduling, documentation, interview coordination, reporting, and general administrative functions across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative and coordination support to Project Managers and project teams
- Schedule meetings, interviews, and manage calendars
- Coordinate communications with internal recruiting teams and stakeholders
- Assist with project scheduling, resource coordination, and task tracking
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, reports, and presentations
- Record meeting minutes and track project action items
- Monitor timelines and report potential project risks or delays
- Maintain project files, records, and document version control
- Assist with vendor coordination, procurement tasks, and expense tracking
Support data entry, database maintenance, and general administrative duties - Handle confidential information with professionalism
- Experience in an administrative, office support, or project coordination role
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, or Jira
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience supporting project teams in corporate or technical environments
- Familiarity with basic accounting, HR, or procurement support tasks
- Project management certification (CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation)
- Experience with office management systems or databases
