Plant Administrative Assistant

Corning Incorporated – Lead administrative support role at Trivium Cable Plant (TCP).

Role Purpose

Provide top-tier administrative support to the TCP Leadership Team, ensuring smooth plant operations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and lead on-site plant events, including visits from customers and executive leadership.
  • Represent the site in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Manage the Plant Manager’s calendar, appointments, and meetings.
  • Create impactful PowerPoint presentations, reports, and graphs.
  • Collaborate with facilities and custodial teams to maintain a clean, safe environment.
  • Arrange travel and meetings for customers, staff, and visitors.
  • Draft and post communications across the visual media platform (monitors).
  • Oversee conference room schedules and workspace logistics, including seating charts.
  • Handle calls, mail, filing, and PO box payments.
  • Maintain stock of office and kitchen supplies within budget, including PPE setup and snack/drink restocking.
Work Schedule
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, day shift (typical schedule 8 am–5 pm).
Qualifications
  • AAS degree in a business‑related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of administrative experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Compensation

Base salary: $60,570.00 – $83,285.00 per year (full‑time). Starting pay depends on job‑related factors.
