Overview

Registered Nurse - Operating Room - PT 22.5 Varied Hours - Newton Medical Center at Atlantic Health. This range is provided by Atlantic Health. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $70.40/hr

• Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities.
• Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.
• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Required:
  
  Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Required:
  
  BLS certification.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in Peri-Op Nursing or relevant area.
• ACLS certification.
