Responsibilities- Responsible for working alongside physicians and nurses and facilitating advanced primary and specialty nursing services.
- Provide patients with support through activities including bathing, serving meals, transportation, administering medication, and positioning.
- Ensure patients and families have a positive experience by demonstrating alertness, collaboration, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Support nursing personnel in providing direct patient care and assist patients with daily activities.
- Serve and collect food trays and provide between-meal nourishment.
- Change bed linens, run errands, and prepare and sterilize treatment trays and supplies.
- Transport patients within the facility for consultations, treatments, tests, or examinations.
- Measure and record patients vital signs and provide basic treatment as appropriate.
- Ensure a safe care environment for patients and families.
- Perform continuous rounds and check-ins to meet patient and family needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Level I - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-3 years of experience as a Nursing Assistant or in patient care with demonstrated increased responsibility in healthcare.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
