Position OverviewNeuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part-Time Licensed Therapists to provide in-home and center-based weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse population of children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver individual in-home therapy, group therapy, telehealth, and outpatient center-based sessions.
- Conduct bio-psycho-social assessments (preferred but not required; training available).
- Provide therapeutic support in areas such as coping skills, social skills, anger management, and reduction of risk behaviors (e.g., SIB, physical aggression).
- Help youth and caregivers improve decision‑making and behavior management at home.
- Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other involved professionals.
- Complete and submit required documentation (intakes, treatment plans, progress notes, etc.) within deadlines.
- Attend monthly team meetings and participate in clinical documentation processes.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field.
- One of the following active NJ licenses or certifications:
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
- Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)
- Licensed Family Therapist (LFT)
- Clinical mental health and trauma counseling training.
- Training or willingness to be trained in Crisis Intervention.
- Post‑internship experience working with youth with mental health disorders.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation, treatment planning, and use of the DSM‑V for diagnosis.
- Familiarity with counseling techniques including CBT, REBT, DBT, Gestalt Therapy, and trauma‑focused interventions.
- Experience working with children (ages 3–20), including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
- Must be available for 6–10 hours per week, between 12 PM and 8 PM; weekend availability is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a registered vehicle.
- Must pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no current or future visa sponsorship available).
- Must submit a resume, a copy of a master’s degree, and an active NJ license or certificate.
Out-of-state licensure (e.g., NY, PA) will be considered only if the candidate is within 25–30 minutes of the designated NJ service areas and the license is registered with the NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board

- Hourly Pay: $45 – $75 per hour.
- Telehealth options available when appropriate.
- Weekly clinical supervision (individual and group) for LACs, LSWs, and MFTs*.
- Ongoing training and professional development.

- Clinical supervision begins 30 days after the start date and is contingent on having a caseload of at least 3 clients or 10 hours per week.
- We do not accept full‑time therapist applicants who maintain a private practice, due to conflict of interest with our program roles.
