Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Youth and Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Serving the state of New Jersey. We are looking for Part‑Time Behavioral Assistants (BA’s) to join our team!

This range is provided by Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Role & Responsibilities
  • Visit the client at home or in the community to provide relief to caregivers and holistic support to youth.
  • Work 2–20 hours weekly in 2–4 hour shifts starting after 3:00 pm during the school year and as early as 8:30 am during the summer. Services available any day of the week.
  • Develop and implement Individual Support Plans.
  • Deliver and monitor behavior analysis services.
  • Submit weekly clinical progress notes within 24 hours of service provision.
  • Complete intake data assessments.
  • Collect and display data (e.g., graphics) as authorized by a recipient’s behavioral analysis service plan.
  • Comply with service authorization, including time frames and service hours.
  • Implement interventions in the Individual Support Plan.
  • Implement behavioral procedures for acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors.
  • Carry out treatment as designated by the supervising behavior analyst, including facilitating environmental arrangements, using proactive strategies, teaching and developing new skills, and managing specific consequences for behavior based on function.
  • Help increase ADL (Assisted Daily Living) skills for children or youth within their home and during community outings.
  • Assist parent/guardian in implementing the treatment plan.
  • Assist the behavior analyst in training caregivers and/or staff.
  • Prevent, recognize, and intervene in crises.
  • Ensure all agency policies are implemented and followed.

Qualifications
  • Must have completed the free CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification course or be able to complete it within 6 months of hire.
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field.
  • 2–4 years experience in behavioral healthcare (maladaptive behaviors).
  • 2–4 years experience working with children with disabilities (developmental/intellectual disabilities, mental illness).
  • Valid NJ driver’s license and proof of car insurance.
  • Consent to and pass State/Federal criminal background checks.
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) – welcome.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship; we cannot sponsor H‑1B or other employment visas.
