Base pay range: $33.33/hr - $58.67/hr
Job Description- Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) per IAC standards, verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Accurately document and report findings in a timely manner; communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members.
- Maintain equipment and exam rooms per infection control standards; participate in lab quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Attend required meetings, in‑services, and training sessions; demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Cross‑functional responsibilities: perform EKGs, stress, nuclear stress testing, EEG, and other delegated duties with training and support.
- Comply with the IAC Standard Protocol & utilize saline & contrast.
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program.
- 1‑3 years of experience in echocardiography; hospital or outpatient cardiology setting preferred.
- Registered through ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with digital imaging systems.
- Must be able to lift and position patients and equipment; flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends or holidays.
