Overview
Are you an experienced Logistic Operator looking for your next opportunity? Yeo Valley is on the lookout for a reliable and skilled Logistics Operative to join our busy distribution team at Isleport, Somerset. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑moving warehouse environment and has solid hands‑on experience operating Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts and other MHE.
We also require experienced Pickers who are interested in learning how to operate MHE and Forklifts.
In this role you’ll be at the heart of our operation – moving stock safely and efficiently, keeping the warehouse flowing, and ensuring every order leaves in perfect condition. Accuracy and attention to detail are key, especially when picking and packing. You’ll also be supporting stock control, general warehouse duties, and upholding the highest standards of safety and hygiene.
Working in a chilled warehouse keeps you on your toes – it’s fast‑paced, rewarding, and you know you’re part of a team that keeps everything moving.
We’re ideally looking for someone with a valid or recently expired Reach Truck licence and proven forklift/MHE experience in a warehouse or logistics setting. A flexible, safety‑first attitude and strong teamwork are essential. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, 08:00–20:00.
Responsibilities- Operate Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts and other MHE safely and competently.
- Book in stock, store stock and manage stock‑related issues.
- Undertake stock checks and maintain accurate records.
- Pick and pack orders accurately to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure safe use of all equipment and report any faults or breakdowns.
- Maintain strict Health & Safety and hygiene standards in a chilled environment.
- Minimise wastage and support overall efficiency.
- Valid or recently expired Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance licence.
- Strong practical experience using forklifts and MHE in a warehouse setting.
- Good communication, numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, chilled environment.
- Previous experience of warehouse or packing roles is desirable.
- Food hygiene and Health & Safety certificates (desirable).
