Base pay range$60.25/yr - $62.25/yr
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Newton, MA.
Job Function
- Night Shift.
- 3x12: 7:15pm - 7:15am.
- Applies external fetal monitors and interprets fetal heart tracings and uterine activity.
- Implements appropriate interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status during labor.
- Identifies emergency situations and promptly notifies the provider, considering patient age and condition.
- Assists physicians or midwives during deliveries.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Fetal Monitoring Certificate preferred.
