Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Auburndale, MA seeking a mid‑level Scrum Master to support data and engineering initiatives, including modern data lake programs. This role leads Agile delivery for one or more technical teams, focusing on execution, communication, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment. The position is delivery‑focused and does not include solution or data architecture design.
- Serve as Scrum Master for data, engineering, and QA teams, ensuring effective Agile and Scrum practices
- Lead core Scrum ceremonies and support sprint execution and delivery
- Partner with Engineering, QA, Product, and Data teams to drive predictable, high‑quality outcomes
- Remove impediments, manage risks, and support team velocity and commitments
- Manage backlogs, sprints, and reporting using Azure Dev Ops
- Continuously improve Agile processes and promote transparency across stakeholders
- 4-7 years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting engineering and QA teams
- Proven experience standing up Agile teams, processes, or delivery frameworks from scratch
- Strong experience using Azure Dev Ops for Agile delivery and reporting
- Experience supporting data‑centric initiatives such as data platforms, data lakes, analytics, or integration projects
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and solve problems creatively
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Scrum Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or similar)
- Experience supporting data architecture or data platform initiatives
- Databricks experience (strongly preferred)
- Salesforce experience (strong plus)
- Familiarity with cloud‑based data environments and modern data ecosystems
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
