Short Description

Catalyst Psychology is a clinician-run, evidence-based practice in the Boston area seeking Massachusetts-licensed clinicians at the doctoral and master’s level who values active, evidence-based clinical work, thoughtful case formulation, and ongoing professional development. This role offers flat, transparent compensation of $75 per session for LICSW and LMHC candidates and $110 per session for PhD and PsyD candidates (W-2). All clinicians have the opportunity to work deeply with achievement-oriented, goal-driven clients presenting with anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, and OCD.

Clinicians at Catalyst receive intentional training, consultation, and clinical support, with particular emphasis on CBT-informed treatment for anxiety, ADHD, and sleep-related concerns.

Catalyst Psychology is a clinician-led, evidence-based practice headquartered in Newton, MA, serving adults and adolescents in person and virtually. Our clinical focus includes anxiety disorders, ADHD, insomnia and sleep-related concerns, and OCD.

Our clients are typically achievement-oriented adults and adolescents (16+) who are motivated for change and value a therapy experience that is engaging, organized, and purposeful. Catalyst Psychology was built intentionally to support strong clinical work, prioritizing clear standards, ethical care, and systems that allow psychologists to focus on clinical decision-making and client progress.

The Role

This role is well-suited for clinicians who enjoy working within a clear treatment framework while maintaining autonomy and a strong therapeutic presence. Clinicians may work in person, virtually, or in a hybrid model.

While our client population includes anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, and OCD, training and consultation are currently primarily concentrated in anxiety, ADHD, and sleep-focused CBT. You do not need to arrive with specialization in all areas to apply.

Compensation & Benefits

Training & Professional Growth

What You’ll Do
  • Provide individual outpatient therapy using CBT and related evidence-based approaches
  • Develop collaborative case formulations
  • Deliver active, focused, and responsive sessions
  • Maintain timely documentation
  • Participate in regular consultation and learning to support your ongoing cases and accelerate your professional growth
Qualifications
  • Licensed Therapist (PhD, PsyD, LICSW, LMHC) in Massachusetts
  • Training and experience in CBT
  • Demonstrated commitment to CBT as a core treatment modality
  • Enthusiastic interest in anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, and/or OCD
  • Strong clinical judgment and professionalism
  • Availability for a consistent outpatient caseload (20–25 sessions/week)

All candidates must be independently licensed and eligible to practice without supervision in MA.
