Charles River Canoe & Kayak offers a relaxed outdoor work environment with competitive pay and benefits, plus the potential for year-round employment opportunities in collaboration with Weston Ski Track and Community Skating @Kendall Square.

• Teach private and group lessons for kayaking or SUP at various locations or the Ocean.
• Lessons are typically on weekends, with occasional morning and evening sessions.
• Additional guiding tours work is available.

• Significant flatwater or ocean paddling experience.
• Ability to demonstrate and teach efficient paddle techniques (forward, sweep, draws, bracing, torso rotation).
• Teaching experience and CPR/FA certifications are required.
• Some weekend availability is necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• ACA or BCU Instructor certifications are desirable but not required.

Starting pay is $19-$24 per hour plus tips.
