Job Description & How to Apply Below

Headquartered in North Andover, Massachusetts, our client is a toy manufacturer, creating and marketing highly trending products that excite children around the world, giving them an amazing experience at affordable prices.

This position MUST work out of their North Andover headquarters and will pay a range of $60-80k plus bonus depending on experience.

We’re looking for an Industrial Designer with a concentration in toys and play products who is excited by variety, enjoys working across multiple projects, and can move ideas forward efficiently.

This role blends creative ideation, play pattern thinking, and hands‑on product development, with the opportunity to see concepts move from sketch to shelf in a relatively short timeframe.

The ideal candidate understands how kids (and kidults) play, thinks in terms of features, value, and price points, and can design with manufacturing realities in mind—without losing the magic of play.

What You’ll Do

  • Create original toy concepts across multiple categories and price points.
  • Develop play patterns, mechanisms, and interactive features.
  • Produce fast, effective sketches, CAD models, and high‑quality renderings.
  • Prepare files for prototyping and support testing, iteration, and refinements.
  • Collaborate with Studio, Buyers, and partners through development and reviews.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s in Industrial, Toy, Product, or related design field.
  • 2–6 years designing toys or play‑focused products.
  • Strong 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization skills (Rhino/Fusion 360, Key Shot, Adobe).
  • Understanding of play patterns, age grading, and safety considerations.
  • Ability to work quickly across multiple fast‑moving projects.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with toy costing, mechanisms, overseas manufacturing, or full product cycles.

Success Looks Like

Clear, compelling concepts; strong cross‑team collaboration; clean 3D execution; and consistent, proactive contribution across multiple projects.
