Body Shop Technician

Conklin Automotive Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated Body Shop Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and refinishing on vehicles damaged by accidents or wear and tear. Your expertise will ensure that our customers' vehicles are restored to their original condition with precision and care. Responsibilities

• Repair and replace damaged body parts, including panels, doors, and bumpers
• Perform frame straightening, dent removal, and bodywork using industry-standard techniques
• Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
• Apply paint and clear coat according to manufacturer specifications
• Conduct quality checks to ensure repairs meet company standards and customer expectations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols
• Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive body repair certification is preferred
• Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of automotive bodywork procedures and tools
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
