The Job You’ll Do;
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery & equipment to a high standard
* Adhere to the company’s HSE standards
* Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and all production-related equipment
* Support the installation of new equipment as required. Inspect and assess the functionality of production machinery
* Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns efficiently
* Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools. Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and inspections
* Produce and submit comprehensive maintenance reports
* Work collaboratively with all departments to achieve company objectives. Design and fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades
* Communicate effectively with the production team and maintain a clean, organized work area
* Assist with training and mentoring apprentices
* Undertake facilities maintenance duties as required
About You;
* Time served and ideally multi-skilled, although a slight bias towards Electrical or Mechanical is considered
* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above
* Previous experience as an industrial maintenance technician or in an equivalent role
* Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems maintenance
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
* Basic computer and report writing skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
* Physical fitness
