Project Engineer, Quality Engineering

We are looking to recruit a Project Engineer on behalf of our client to join their team on a Permanent basis.

• Plan, schedule and manage NPI and engineering activities using critical path analysis, ensuring alignment with customer and business timelines
• Apply APQP methodology from concept through to launch, including PFMEA, Control plans and process validation
• Attend and contribute to regular project and customer progress meetings, leading internal meetings where required
• Coordinate and manage the resolution of technical issues, ensuring robust root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment, including: press tooling, Robotic welding systems.
• Maintain daily interaction with customers, including use of customer portals and adherence to customer specific requirements
• Ensure effective communication between engineering, production, quality, supply chain and external supplies
