Project Engineer, Quality Engineering

We are looking to recruit a Project Engineer on behalf of our client to join their team on a Permanent basis.

Key requirements:

* Plan, schedule and manage NPI and engineering activities using critical path analysis, ensuring alignment with customer and business timelines

* Apply APQP methodology from concept through to launch, including PFMEA, Control plans and process validation

* Attend and contribute to regular project and customer progress meetings, leading internal meetings where required

* Coordinate and manage the resolution of technical issues, ensuring robust root cause analysis and corrective actions.

* oversee the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment, including: press tooling, Robotic welding systems.

* Maintain daily interaction with customers, including use of customer portals and adherence to customer specific requirements

* Ensure effective communication between engineering, production, quality, supply chain and external supplies

Experience managing cross-functional and diverse teams including:

* NPI

* Continuous improvement

* Die tooling

* Engineering Change

* Weld Assembly
