LGV​/HGV C+E Class 1 Driver

We are now recruiting for LGV/HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers on a full time, permanent basis based for various shift patterns in Newton Abbot.

Your role will include you operating refrigerated articulated and rigid vehicles, delivering and collecting chilled, frozen and ambient stock from Local and Regional Distribution Centres as well as local convenience stores for a major retailer

• Days – Guaranteed annual salary of £40,284.
• Guaranteed 50 hours per week
• Overtime paid at an enhanced rate

• Saturday - Wednesday 06:00am-08:00am.
• Thursday - Monday 06:00am-08:00am.

• Potential to earn a further £1,200 annual safe driver bonus scheme (Paid each quarter) based on safe and efficient driving

• Possession of LGV C+E Licence
• Current DCPC
• Newly qualified drivers considered
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and Current Drivers Hours Desirable but full training can be provided
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to Work Effectively and Accurately in a Fast Paced Environment
• Effectively Prioritise Workload in Order to Meet Set Deadlines
