Electrician Apprentice; Apprenticeship

As an Electrical Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced electricians to learn all aspects of electrical installation, maintenance, and testing. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects while completing your formal apprenticeship training through Exeter College. • Assist qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Help with wiring, containment, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with regulations
• Support testing, inspection, and fault-finding under supervision
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised manner
• Adhere to company and site-specific health & safety policies at all times
• Accurately record work completed and materials used

• Experience in electrical installation (apprenticeship-level opportunity)
• Level 2 or Level 3 diploma in electrical installation
• Must be 18 or over due to the work location

You will study for the Electrical Installation apprenticeship at Exeter College.

When you complete the course, you will be a qualified electrician. Qualification / Standard: ST0152 Installation electrician and maintenance electrician. Duration 48 months.
