AUDIT Manager

REED Practice are actively recruiting for an Audit Manager to work within a well established Practice near to Wimborne. The Audit Manager will work alongside a colleague to lead and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality service. This role involves supervising audit teams, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the growth and development of the audit department.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Planning & Execution:
Plan, manage, and deliver audit engagements from start to finish within agreed timelines and budgets. Ensure audits comply with relevant standards (ISA, UK GAAP, IFRS). Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and technical support. Review work papers and audit files prepared by junior team members. Client Relationship Management:
Act as the main point of contact for clients during audits. Build strong relationships and identify opportunities for additional services. Quality & Compliance:
Maintain high standards of audit quality and adhere to regulatory requirements. Ensure proper documentation and risk assessment procedures are followed. Business Development:
Support partners in winning new audit work and expanding client base. Participate in networking and marketing activities. Skills &

Qualifications:

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent). Minimum 5 years’ experience in audit within an accountancy practice. Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks. Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
