Practice Finance Manager

Location: Newton Abbot , Devon
Contract: Permanent , 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications

We’re looking for a confident and experienced Practice Finance Manager to take ownership of our internal finance function and support the smooth running of the business.

If you’re organised, proactive, and skilled at keeping financial operations running seamlessly, we’d love to hear from you.

• Lead budget planning and financial forecasting
• Manage monthly account consolidation and year end procedures
• Review financial performance and provide insight to business leaders
• Drive process improvements and support operational efficiency
• Coordinate payroll, VAT compliance and statutory reporting
• Support annual compliance audits and internal financial controls
• Act as the central point of contact for all finance related matters

• CIMA and or 5 years experience in finance
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, Quickbook or Xero

• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Accounts production software such as CCH desirable but not essential
• Ability to show initiative and work within a team.
• Ability to build good client relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with people at various levels
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload in a timely manner to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

• CIMA or Equivalent
• and/ or a minimum of 5 years experience in finance
• 1 extra holiday day for Christmas
