Job Overview

Axcis Education is partnering with a secondary college near Newton Abbot to hire a part‑time Classroom Teaching Assistant for two days a week. The hours are 08:30‑15:30 and the pay is £90‑£100 per day depending on qualifications and experience. The role is to start immediately.

• An inclusive school serving a large number of students with SEND.

• Previous school‑based experience and transferable skills.
• Comfortable supporting in a busy classroom environment.
• Ability to build relationships with learners, including those with SEND.
• Capability to deliver interventions on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEN.
• Enjoys working in a fast‑paced role that requires multitasking.
