Are you passionate about supporting young people who thrive outside traditional classroom environments? Do you enjoy the outdoors and have a practical, hands‑on approach to learning? We are recruiting for a committed Alternative Provisions Support Worker for a specialist setting in the Newton Abbot area.

This role involves supporting young people with a range of SEN needs in a bespoke alternative learning environment. The provision delivers education through outdoor learning, practical activities, and tailored interventions designed to re‑engage students.

• Supporting young people 1:1 or in small groups
• Helping deliver outdoor, practical, and activity‑based sessions
• Using trade or hands‑on skills to engage learners
• Transporting students to activities using a company vehicle
• Maintaining a safe, calm, and encouraging environment
• Working as part of a supportive, experienced team

• Experience working with SEN learners (essential)
• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• A passion for outdoor learning and practical activities
• Some trade‑based or hands‑on skills (desirable)
• Age 25+ (due to insurance requirements for driving a company vehicle)
• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
