Finance Manager

A well-established business based in Driffield is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day finance function on a permanent, full‑time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a steady and confident finance professional who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring reconciliations are completed thoroughly, and producing reliable management information to support business decisions. Offering a competitive salary of £38,000 – £45,000, this role would suit someone who takes pride in running a well‑organised and efficient finance operation.

• Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date financial records
• Full responsibility for sales ledger, purchase ledger and general ledger
• Completing monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Producing monthly Management Accounts with supporting commentary
• Monitoring cash flow and preparing forecasts
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Supporting year‑end processes and liaising with external accountants
• Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance with company procedures

• Previous experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role
• Strong reconciliation and ledger management skills
• Experience producing Management Accounts independently
• A methodical, organised and detail‑focused approach
• The confidence to manage a finance function autonomously
• AAT qualification, part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA, or be qualified by experience
