Overview of Role

Great wealth managers must provide a first class personal service, where team members truly know each client and understand their requirements, whilst also delivering on each client’s investment requirements. To achieve this, we adopt a collaborative approach, splitting relationship and portfolio responsibilities between Client Adviser and Portfolio Manager teams.

Client Adviser teams are responsible for all elements of a client’s relationship with Rothschild & Co Wealth Management. This includes: working with clients to determine their investment requirements, co-ordinating investment advice and handling all day-to-day client needs. Teams are comprised of senior Client Advisers, Associates and Analysts and Client Service Executive, who support Client Advisers.

Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients, developing deep understanding of their goals, needs, risk appetite and personal circumstances.
  • Maintain regular communication, ensuring evolving client needs are identified and acted on in a timely manner.
  • Provide right first time responses and resolve client queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Discuss, develop and document suitable portfolio strategies with clients.
  • Coordinate closely with the Investment team to ensure implementation reflects client requirements.
  • Conduct structured monitoring and review of client portfolios, assessing suitability, risk, tax considerations, performance and missed opportunities.
Onboarding & Business Development
  • Identify, engage and onboard new clients in line with team and business objectives.
  • Work with colleagues across Client Services, Analysts and Compliance to deliver a smooth onboarding process.
  • Contribute positively to both client growth and client retention through proactive relationship management.
Client Reporting & Communication
  • Coordinate and produce high quality portfolio reviews, bespoke analysis and tailored investment communications.
  • Deliver complex information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form.
Internal Collaboration & Conduct
  • Build strong partnerships with Portfolio Managers, Lending and Infrastructure teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of integrity, due skill and diligence.
Experience & Skills Required
  • Minimum of 6 years proven experience working with HNW/UHNW Clients, preferably within Wealth Management or Private Banking
  • Highly numerate with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong IT capability (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex topics clearly.
  • Strong organisational discipline with high attention to detail.
  • Proactive, energetic, collaborative and committed to client service excellence.
  • Highest levels of personal and professional integrity.
