This is a commercially focused role where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, primarily the Chief Commercial Officer, to drive insight, challenge thinking and improve business performance. The role:

As FP&A Business Partner , you’ll be the key finance partner to the Commercial function. Your focus will be on revenue and cost of sale performance, providing clear, robust insight that improves understanding, reduces risk and supports profitable growth. You’ll lead forecasting and budgeting cycles, deliver high quality modelling and presentations, and work closely with the Commercial team on new business initiatives and, where relevant, M&A opportunities.

Reporting into the FP&A Lead, our client is looking for an individual who is proactive, resilient and comfortable with change - a self-starter who’s happy to roll their sleeves up, ask the right questions and add real value.

Key responsibilities:

Partner the Chief Commercial Officer and their leadership team, providing timely, accurate and relevant weekly and monthly reporting to support decision making Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and become the go-to finance contact for your areas of responsibility Own and continuously improve revenue and cost of sale recognition methodologies Lead the preparation of revenue and gross margin budgets, forecasts, rolling forecasts and 3 year strategic plans, delivering high quality insight and clear communication Enhance existing reporting and develop new commercial KPIs that genuinely support the Commercial team Champion continuous improvement, standardisation and automation of processes, working closely with technology teams Provide ad-hoc analysis and support on projects as required Actively support the management accounts team, sharing insight and helping improve commercial understanding across finance Work collaboratively with the wider FP&A team and the broader finance function

About you:

Ideally a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with 3 years PQE Confident working with non finance stakeholders, able to influence, challenge and explain complex information clearly Resilient and proactive, with experience operating in a changing environment Comfortable working autonomously and delivering under pressure Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, KPI development and commercial analysis Advanced Excel skills, confident handling large and complex data sets, and quick to pick up new systems Highly analytical, with the ability to spot trends and turn data into meaningful insight for both financial and non-financial audiences Why apply?
