Private Client Tax Manager – Accountancy Practice Winchester Hybrid & Flexible Working Competitive, based on experience A growing accountancy and tax advisory practice with offices across Central and Southern England is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager to join its expanding Winchester Tax team . This is a permanent, full-time position offering ownership of a varied private client portfolio, exposure to advisory work, and the opportunity to develop business relationships, alongside hybrid and flexible working .

The Role As Private Client Tax Manager , your responsibilities will include:
Managing a diverse portfolio of private client tax cases with minimal supervision Supporting Partners with compliance work and ad hoc private client tax advisory Building and maintaining long-term client relationships , providing high-quality technical and commercial advice Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies Ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget Liaising and negotiating with HMRC , including responding to enquiries Managing billing and WIP for your own portfolio Identifying and implementing process and systems improvements Participating in business development and marketing activities , including networking Supporting new client meetings and assisting with pricing and fee proposals Collaborating with compliance and advisory teams to identify cross-selling opportunities Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and industry developments Candidate Profile Fully ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified Significant experience within a UK private client tax team Proven experience managing a private client portfolio Strong technical knowledge of UK private client tax
