The position is ideal for an experienced private client tax professional looking to play a key role in a growing practice.
The Role As Private Client Tax Senior Manager , your responsibilities will include:
Proactively managing a large and diverse private client tax portfolio with minimal supervision Supporting Partners with complex compliance and ad hoc tax advisory work Building and maintaining long-term client relationships , delivering expert technical and commercial advice Ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget Reviewing and preparing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies Liaising and negotiating with HMRC , including responding to enquiries on behalf of clients Taking responsibility for billing, WIP management, and portfolio profitability Identifying and implementing process and systems improvements Participating in business development and marketing activities , including networking and events Proactively contributing to winning new work and developing existing client relationships Leading new client meetings , onboarding clients, and assisting with pricing and fee proposals Collaborating with compliance teams and other departments to identify cross-selling opportunities Promoting the firm’s services and brand to clients, prospects, and professional contacts Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and economic developments Candidate Profile Fully ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified Significant experience within a UK private client tax team Proven ability to manage a large and complex client portfolio Strong technical knowledge of UK private client tax Previous experience with agricultural and rural businesses preferred but not essential Experience working with Trusts beneficial What’s on Offer Hybrid working and flexible hours Opportunity to work closely with Partners on advisory matters Competitive salary and benefits package Location Winchester, Hampshire Easily commutable from Southampton, Eastleigh, Basingstoke and surrounding areas Next Steps For a confidential discussion or to apply, please get in touch Jack Wood on or
