Customer Delivery Driver - Newry Extra

Pay
: starts from £13.35 an hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexible options for fewer hours down to a minimum of 12.
Availability Window- Sunday 08:00 – 21:00
- Thursday 18:00 – 22:00
- Saturday 08:00 – 21:00
- Ensure van and trays are clean, tidy and organised.
- Maintain a clean, tidy back‑yard and pick up litter as seen.
- Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
- Load the van as required and check the vehicle for roadworthiness.
- Communicate any order changes or substitutions to customers, offering refunds where appropriate.
- Handle products and deliveries safely, treating them as your own.
- Explain that substitution charges will not be added.
- Deliver during the customer’s designated time slot.
- Call customers before arriving if you will be early.
- Contact the store or centre if running 30 or more minutes late.
- Build team spirit and collaborate to make the store best for customers.
- Warm, welcoming customer and colleague interactions; say "Thank you".
- Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace store changes.
- Energetic and driven to exceed expectations, balancing home and work.
- Share ideas with managers and colleagues to improve the store.
- Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
