SEN​/SEND Tutor, Herefordshire

Overview

We are a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people. We aim to support pupils and students ranging from KS1 to KS5 (as appropriate for your skills) referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.

• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
• SEND Support Team:
  Support to keep a team around you and the child

  Knowledge sharing and resources

• Experience:
  
  2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
• Subjects:
  Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualifications:
  
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Compliance:
  Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references

• Location:
  
  You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
• Safeguarding:
  Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
• Leominster, Herefordshire - £28 - £35 per hour
