INFORM3 are recruiting for a Senior Electrical Estimator for our client based in South Down. This is a position of responsibility from which you will be able to play an active role in the continued success of the company through generating competitive, profitable tenders for authorisation and submission.

You will have a proven track record of winning profitable work, striving from success as you take account for take-offs, creation of bills of quantities and activity schedules and able to maximise the order pipeline and their conversion.

Role/Responsibilities

• To provide estimating expertise to compile compliant tender bids
• To evaluate tenders by reviewing and completing the tender forms and ensure they are within the given specifications
• Prepare and issue of tenders in line with the tender documentations provided
• Obtaining estimates and prices from sub-contractors and suppliers
• Responsible for maintaining professional working relationships with clients and sub-contractors.
• Follow up tenders and assist with securing projects.
• To review contract tender information and identify incomplete elements

Requirements

• Construction related 3rdLevel qualification
• Minimum 5 years Estimating experience
• Experience with in the Electrical sector
• Strong computer / excel skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Commercial Awareness
