Salary: £40,000 basic with realistic OTE of £52,000

Van and Fuel card with option for personal use

We’re recruiting experienced Gas Installation Engineers to join a well-established organisation working across social housing properties. This role focuses on the installation of gas appliances and central heating systems, delivered to the highest safety, quality, and customer service standards.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for carrying out gas installations in occupied properties, ensuring full compliance with Gas Safety regulations and company procedures, while maintaining excellent communication with residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Install gas appliances and central heating systems safely and efficiently

* Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service in occupied homes

* Ensure all works comply with Gas Safe regulations, legislation, and best practice

* Manage installation timescales while maintaining quality standards

* Communicate clearly with residents and clients throughout installations

* Participate in a callout rota when required

Skills & Qualifications

* CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1

* NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)

* Unvented hot water qualification (desirable)

* Energy Efficiency qualification (desirable)

* Strong fault-finding skills

* Confident using PDA/mobile systems

Experience Required

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in gas installation

* Social housing experience preferred

* Experience working directly with residents

* Full UK driving licence

* DBS check required

* Exposure to renewables is advantageous
