A highly reputable and successful firm of chartered accountants based in Newquay is searching for a Qualified Accountant to join their team as a key addition in a mixed accounts/tax and wider service support role to the managerial/partner group with opportunity to carve an influential role with a progression and career path on offer.

Based in Newquay this well established and successful firm acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries and turnovers. As a result of combined replacement need and ongoing, sustained positive growth looking to plan for the future development of the firm, the partners are looking to bring in the right additional qualified accountant to bolster their team.

Joining as Qualified Accountant based from the firms Newquay offices you will senior, lead and manage the hands on delivery of accounts, tax and wider services to clients across varied industries and turnover ranges. You will develop client relationships, taking on increasing client portfolio and management responsibility, working on wider advisory/business services and delivering wider project work as you develop and carve a career within this firm.

A progression path is on offer and there is opportunity to carve an influential key role within this firm.

• Senior, lead and manage the hands-on delivery of accounts, tax and wider services to clients across varied industries and turnover ranges.
• Develop client relationships, manage increasing client portfolio and take on management responsibility.
• Engage in wider advisory/business services and deliver project work as part of career progression within the firm.

You may be qualified across any of AAT, ATT, ACA / ACCA etc, or have developed your career through experience only to date, with a career background within accounts/tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to around the Senior or Managerial levels and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity.

Full or Part time working hours can be explored, mouldable around the preferences of the right candidate, with mix of home to office and hybrid working.

• Qualified across AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent experience in accounts/tax and general practice service delivery.
• Experience at Senior or Managerial level within an accountancy practice environment.
• Flexibility on full-time or part-time hours, with willingness to work in a hybrid or mixed office/home setup.
