You’ll assist with activities of daily living, support nutrition and hydration, promote safe mobility, and participate in care planning with the broader care team. Documentation will be precise and timely, and clear communication with families and physicians will be a hallmark of your role.

As you grow, you’ll have opportunities to deepen expertise in geriatric and long‑term care domains such as wound care, IV therapy, pain management, dementia care, and palliative approaches. Leadership possibilities and mentorship roles may arise, along with continuing education opportunities to advance your clinical capabilities.
