Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg and PCU night shift position requiring independent practice and charge nurse duties.
Responsibilities- Work in a critical access hospital with 25 beds
- Position covers Medical/Surgical, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Telemetry nursing
- Night shift schedule from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., including every other weekend
- Requires floating to other units based on staffing needs
- Must attend department quarterly education sessions
- Agency professionals expected to float as needed within the hospital
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Active VT or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 5 years RN experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to work independently and fulfill charge nurse responsibilities
