- ** Position:
** Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
- ** Shift:
** Nights - 7 PM to 7 AM
- ** Call:
** May be required
- ** Block Scheduling:
** Possible - please request in your submission
- ** Floating:
** No floating required
- ** Maximum RTO:
** 1 week; RTO blackout on 12/31
- ** Holiday Requirement:
** Must work Christmas Eve or Christmas Night
- ** Patient Ratio:** - Laboring Patients: 1:1 - Postpartum: 1:3 (Mom/Babies)
- ** Number of Beds:
** 5
- ** Scrub Color:
** Turquoise
** Requirements:** - BLS Certification - ACLS Certification - NRP Certification - STABLE Certification - Valid TN License - Minimum 2 years of experience - Travel experience preferred - Must include RTO with submission (to be made up at the end of the contract) - Home address and SSN are required in submissions - Must be greater than 50 miles from the facility
** Scope of the Role:** - Provide direct and indirect patient care services - Meet patients' psychosocial, physical, and developmental needs - Communicate effectively with patients and families - Take initiative and demonstrate responsibility in your professional role - Report changes in patient condition and communicate test results to physician
