• CUSTOMER SERVICE - Proactively engage and connect with customers. Ask questions and listen to customers' needs. Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card.
• Provide premier customer service. Build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships; take accountability for actions and outcomes.
• ORGANIZATION - Maintain store appearance.
• SALES - Cross-sell products and know store layout. Make suggestions on latest trends and current promotions based on customer needs. Upsell products. Learn product features; stay updated on trends; confidently provide product knowledge, specs; use company tools and technology.
• Use Point-of-Sales system; process cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit/debit cards; handle cash and return accurate amounts.
• Complete various paperwork, reports, and reconciliations.
• INVENTORY - Be the keeper of merchandise; complete inventory processes; ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed. May participate in periodic inventories.
• DEPENDABILITY - Adherence to assigned work schedule; accurate and complete follow-through on assignments.

• PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE - Basic knowledge of products/merchandise.
• EXPERIENCE - Retail experience preferred but not required.
• COMMUNICATION SKILLS - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents; effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management; proper telephone etiquette.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic math functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• REASONING ABILITY - Ability to multi-task, stay attentive to customers, and be flexible to business needs; ability to work as part of a team and take initiative with minimal supervision.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT - This position involves constant movement; standing for at least two consecutive hours; may involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders; vision includes close/color/depth perception; may lift 25–50 lbs; indoors and outdoors as location requires.
• OTHER SKILLS - Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic, with a desire to provide outstanding service.
• EDUCATION - No experience required;
  High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

WORK HOURS:

Available to work a variety of hours which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
