Job Summary:
As a sales associate you will be the face of our company. You highlight our brand and image while building our reputation as a company that values its customers and their opinions. You will assist customers, help them recognize the need for our products and services, and articulate our purpose in an educational, insightful, and professional manner. A positive and outgoing nature that enjoys serving others and making a positive impact is essential.
- Customer Service – Proactively engage and connect with customers, ask questions and listen to their needs, inform them about upcoming events, promotions, and mobile offers.
- Provide premier customer service, cooperate and build positive inclusive relationships, take accountability for actions and outcomes.
- Maintain store appearance.
- Sales – Cross‑sell products, know store layout, make suggestions based on customer needs, upsell products, keep product knowledge up to date, and use company tools and technology to confidently provide product information.
- Process transactions with the Point‑of‑Sales system, handle cash, discounts, gift cards, credit and debit cards, count money accurately, and reconcile transactions.
- Inventory – Complete inventory processes, ensure merchandise is checked in and ticketed accurately, and participate in periodic inventories.
- Dependability – Adhere to the assigned work schedule, complete work assignments accurately and completely, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Product Knowledge – Basic knowledge of products and merchandise.
- Experience – Retail experience preferred but not required.
- Communication Skills – Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents, communicate with customers, peers and management, and use proper telephone etiquette.
- Mathematical Skills – Basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Reasoning Ability – Ability to multitask, remain attentive to customers, be flexible to business needs, work as part of a team, take initiative, and work independently of direct supervision.
- Physical Demands – Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders; vision abilities incl. close vision, color vision, depth perception; lifting at least 25 lbs. up to 50 lbs.; work indoors and occasionally outdoors.

Available to work a variety of hours which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
No experience required. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
