User Acceptance Tester - Intermediate

Hybrid - Providence, RI
Duration: 1 Year

• Assist in evaluating and managing project scope and business/functional requirements.
• Liaise between State Agencies and Vendors, working cross-agency UAT as needed.
• Collaborate with project and development teams to understand project roadmap, features, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop UAT test preparation schedules, test plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Prepare execution calendars and manage account/environment requests for UAT testing.
• Review and consolidate test scripts and scenarios to align with project scope and business processes.
• Execute SQL queries to gather and validate data required for UAT testing.
• Manage test scripts and defect tracking in JIRA and JAMA, including logging and testing tickets.
• Identify, log, and review defects/issues, collaborating with team members to resolve them.
• Ensure quality assurance activities meet expectations and deadlines.
• Attend UAT meetings, provide status updates, and report testing metrics to the State UAT Manager.
• Utilize knowledge of SDLC, testing strategies, and project management methodologies.
• Apply hands‑on experience in creating and executing test cases and developing testing schedules.
• Use strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills in daily tasks.
• Preferred:
  Experience with Health and Human Services systems, automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium), and testing third‑party interfaces.
