SUMMARY
To provide diagnostic and treatment services to an assigned caseload of children, adolescents, adults, and families and to establish links with other community services.

- Conduct a thorough diagnostic assessment by the fourth session with the client and written in the record according to department policies.
- Develop Treatment Plan in accordance with department policies and procedures manual and follows DSM IV diagnosis by the fifth session.
- Develop Treatment plan to be measurable and objective, completed and signed by family within first five sessions.
- Achieve assigned 100% productivity at the end of each fiscal year. Treatment plan to be updated at least every three months with 12 session reviews occurring regularly.
- Progress notes/Termination/Evaluationdmission forms/Documentation will be written in accordance with department policies, i.e., use of DAP format.
- Progress notes/Termination/Evaluationdmission forms/Documentation meet department deadlines, i.e., progress notes written same day as appointment.
- Termination evaluation completed within 15 days of termination.
- Adhere to MIS time table, i.e., progress notes for previous week in to MIS by 10 a.m. on Monday following.
- Complete billing paperwork on time to ensure reimbursement.
- Maintains minimum hours per week of direct contact with individual, client, family, group, or collateral contact as determined by Department policy. Client contact will occur at program, school, or client's home.
- Attends 85% of all Children's Outpatient Services group supervision meetings as scheduled and is prepared to present a case when required.
- Attends 90% of individual clinical supervision with immediate supervisor as scheduled.
- Prepares for supervision by completing tasks as required and formulates an agenda including questions for supervision.
- Attends a minimum of three case records with supervisor.
- Attends 85% of General Staff Meetings.
- 100% of unscheduled meetings deemed mandatory by department, manager, supervisor, or director.
- Required in services/trainings necessary to keep current in job.
- Participates in consultation, education, and committees as required by department and program management. Includes, but is not limited to, residential staff, school professionals, and internal and external resources and providers.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or needed.
- A minimum of a Master's Degree in social work from an accredited school of social work.
- Must have or obtain Rhode Island licensure (LCSW) within six (6) months of initial employment.
- Must apply and successfully obtain LICSW and/or ACSW during appropriate timetable.
- Must apply for and actively pursue credentialing for certification in substance abuse (LCDP).
- Documentation of field placement in Human Service Agency and supervision by a Master's level clinician or documentation of employment in a clinical setting with weekly supervision by a Master's level supervisor.
- Valid driver's license and use of car during normal working hours or other means of transportation in order to perform the major functions of the job.
- Must maintain automobile liability insurance coverage for vehicle being used in accordance with Center requirements.
- Obtain CPR training within 90 days of employment and maintain annually.
- Knowledge and ability to supervise students in accordance with Center policies and procedures.
- Knowledge and understanding of mental health issues and substance abuse.
- Knowledge and ability to use different treatment modalities as needed such as crisis intervention, family therapy, and group skills.
- Knowledge of community agencies for successful referrals and treatment planning.
- Ability to organize time and schedule.
- Interpersonal skills developed to a level which will allow the smooth cooperation at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to successfully complete all required training and certifications.
- Oral and written communication skills, including speech, grammar, spelling, and legibility are at sufficient level to ensure effective and appropriate communication.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals either manually or by use of a calculator. > ETHICS
