Job Description:

The Department of Biology and Biomedical Sciences at Salve Regina University invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions for the Spring 2026 semester. We seek qualified candidates to teach Advanced Biochemistry.

Course Expectations

The successful candidate will be prepared to teach:

* Metabolic pathways of carbohydrates, lipids, and amino acids, including their regulatory mechanisms

* Core concepts in genomics and nucleic acid sequencing

* The molecular basis of self-assembly, morphogenesis, and cellular differentiation

* Ultrastructural features of cells

* Neurotransmission, hormones, and cell-signaling mechanisms

Requirements:

Required:

Applicants must hold an M.S. in one of the following fields:

* Biochemistry

* Chemistry with a focus in Biochemistry

* Biology

Preferred:

Ph.D. in one of the following fields:

* Biochemistry

* Chemistry with a focus in Biochemistry

* Biology
