Position: SUPERVISORY LEARNING STANDARDS OFFICER with Security Clearance
Duties Help
* You will administer multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously to develop and sustain NJS's programs of study.
* You will lead and perform detailed work required of all phases of NJS's curriculum development process (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation).
* You will ensure education and training is efficient, effective, relevant, and designed based on proven principles of education and training.
* You will assist in the development, review, and revision of instructional materials for courses, including the revision of the specific content, organization, style, format, emphasis, and treatment of each segment of the instructional courses.
* You will maintain current knowledge of developments in the fields of education, training, and automation in order to integrate changes into surveys, task lists, course materials, and instructional methods and media,
* You will provide technical and administrative supervision to a limited number of staff (currently two civilian positions) requiring a minimum of 25% of work time.
* You will develop staff training courses and products for staff use in teaching the NJS programs of study. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR . Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Utilizing a range of administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedents for the administration of training;
2) Implementing training learning theory and principles, program management methods, techniques, and practices to create, maintain, improve and evaluate curriculum;
3) Applying adult education training and learning principles, methods, practices and techniques in curriculum design, curriculum development, evaluation and assessment;
4) Participating in education and training development processes (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation),
5) Measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of assigned programs using survey and evaluation strategies;
6) Working with education/training products including but not limited to:
Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI), Web-based courses, Criterion-Referenced Tests, Student Evaluation Plans, Instructor Guide construct, Programs of Instruction (POis), Training Support Packages (TSPs), Individual Training Plans (ITPs),
7) Communicating effectively both in writing and orally including skill in preparing and delivering briefing to managers on findings and recommendations demonstrating a high degree of tact, diplomacy, sound judgment, and ability to work closely with staff, faculty and students.
