Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Oregon requiring an active OR RN license, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Responsibilities
• Work on a Medical Surgical unit specializing in the care of acutely ill adult patients and those needing emergent or elective surgery
• Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15 with rotating weekends
• Adult patient population with varying medical and surgical needs
• 13-week travel contract
• Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported
• Team delivers high standards of professional care alongside nurse assistants
• Facility enforces strict adherence to required licensing, experience, and certifications for consideration
• Rotating weekend coverage is required
Requirements
• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of consideration
• A minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience is required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required
