Famous Footwear is a leading retailer of athletic, fashion, and casual shoes for the whole family. As a Sales Lead, you will passionately create a welcoming store environment, inspire teammates, and drive sales by delivering excellent customer service and operational excellence.

• Inspire a positive store culture and motivate the team by leading coaching moments for selling behaviors.
• Set and achieve sales goals, driving performance for Famous Footwear.
• Manage retail operations, ensuring seamless store processes from pricing to inventory
• Open and close the store, maintain a clean, organized environment, and keep styles easily shoppable.
• Uphold company policies, utilizing partners and resources to accomplish tasks.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through attentive service and brand enthusiasm.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Proficient working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
• Retail store management experience or relevant management experience in lieu
• Experience motivating a team to achieve goals
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate direction set by the store manager
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train associates on selling and operational processes
• Flexible schedule – available for holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours
• Basic computer skills

• Regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
