Assistant Manager

Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, ensuring a positive customer experience, efficient inventory management, and a well trained team. This role oversees daily operations, maintains store standards, and leads the team to achieve sales goals.

• Ensure a welcoming environment by greeting all customers and maintaining store appearance, including displays and signage.
• Oversee inventory flow, including markdowns, ticketing, and clearance management, while maintaining accurate pricing and organized stockrooms.
• Train, develop, and provide continuous feedback to team members on customer service, store policies, operational procedures, and compliance tasks.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, collaborating with the store manager on marketing and promotional campaigns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages).

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail management or a related field.
• 2–4 years of retail experience as an Assistant Manager.
• 3–5 years of retail experience.
