Part -time Tax Preparer

Description

We are looking for a skilled part-time Tax Preparer to join our team on a contract basis in Northern Kentucky area. This position requires expertise in handling individual tax returns and utilizing tax software to ensure accurate and efficient preparation. If you have a strong background in tax preparation and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare individual 1040 tax returns with accuracy and adherence to all relevant regulations.

- Utilize Tax software to efficiently process and file tax documents.

- Conduct thorough reviews of client-provided financial information to ensure completeness.

- Provide clear explanations to clients regarding tax liabilities and refund calculations.

- Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance.

- Address client questions and concerns about their tax filings promptly and professionally.

- Organize and maintain tax records for easy retrieval and audit purposes.

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and client satisfaction.

- Identify potential deductions and credits to maximize client savings.

- Ensure timely submission of all tax-related documents within deadlines.

Requirements

- Proven experience in tax preparation, specifically individual tax returns.

- Proficiency in using Tax software for accurate tax filing.

- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients.

- Capability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with identifying deductions and credits to optimize tax savings.

- Detail-oriented approach and commitment to client confidentiality.
